What is ArriveSafe ?

ArriveSafe is a cost effective method of assessing the risks a driver brings to a driving activity. Being a computer based assessment enables the assessment of high volumes of drivers that may otherwise be geographically impractical, a protracted exercise or cost prohibitive to assess by qualified driving instructors. It is a rich media programme designed to create a pleasing screen environment and combines variable questions style, photographic images, video and sound. The questions are presented randomly making no two assessments the same in delivery, yet the question response is linked to the module for the purpose of the assessment report.

ArriveSafe has 5 modules: -

Driver Profile - Provides information about the driver's driving experience, record and personal details that may impact on driving safety.

Attitude – Measures behaviour and attitude towards every day traffic scenarios.

Hazard Perception – Measures ability to recognise hazards within video footage* containing unique rear view mirror and local sound, and also by selection of screen “hot spots” in static images.

Knowledge – This module tests the driver's awareness of accepted driving protocols and car safety features.

Highway Code – Straight from the book and similar to the Driving Standards Theory test, now part of the qualifying process.
